1. Data controller
Under Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), your personal data is processed by Seika Global Endüstriyel Ürünler Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi (“Seika Global”), as data controller, within the scope described below.

2. Personal data processed
We process the following data that you send us through the quote form on seika.com.tr, email, phone and WhatsApp:
- Identity: full name
- Contact: phone number, email address
- Customer transaction: company name, project city/district, requested delivery date, product quality preference, your notes and the material lists you upload
- Transaction security: the date and time the form was submitted and an irreversibly summarised (hashed) form of your IP address
Please do not include personal data that is not needed for the quote in the files you upload.
3. Purposes of processing
- Receiving and assessing your request and preparing a quote for you
- Communicating with you about quotation and order processes
- Carrying out sales, supply and contract processes
- Preventing misuse of the form and unwanted submissions
- Fulfilling obligations arising from legislation
4. Legal grounds
Your personal data is processed on the following legal grounds set out in Article 5(2) of the KVKK:
- (c) it is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract (your quote request and the subsequent process)
- (ç) it is necessary for the data controller to fulfil its legal obligation
- (f) our legitimate interests, provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed (security of the form and prevention of misuse)
5. Method of collection
Your data is collected electronically and partly by automated means, through the form on our website, email, phone and WhatsApp.
6. Transfers
Within Türkiye: Where needed to prepare a quote, only product and project information is shared with our suppliers; your identity and contact details are not shared in this context. On request, data may be transferred to authorised public institutions and bodies within the framework of the legislation.
Abroad: Our website and business processes run on service providers whose servers are located abroad: website hosting and form infrastructure (Cloudflare), request records database (Supabase, European Union – Frankfurt), email infrastructure (Microsoft 365), instant notifications (WhatsApp – Meta). These transfers are carried out in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK, under standard contracts made with the service providers and other appropriate safeguards.
7. Retention period
Requests that do not turn into a quote are kept for 2 years from the request date and are deleted, destroyed or anonymised at the end of this period. If your request turns into an order or contract, the related records are kept for the periods set out in the Turkish Commercial Code and tax legislation (generally 10 years).
8. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information if it has been processed; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose; to know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Türkiye or abroad; to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurately processed; to request its deletion or destruction under the conditions in Article 7 of the KVKK; to request that correction and deletion be notified to the third parties to whom it was transferred; to object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems; and to claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

Requests are concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest, depending on their nature.
